Laura McClure — photographer, content creator, event builder, and the founder behind Arizona's first Golden Retriever community convergence.
I've spent my career connecting people, places, and stories — through a lens, through written content, and through building the kinds of gatherings that people actually show up for. I'm a photographer first, an event builder by passion, and a capable creative generalist when the work calls for it.
Here's what I do and how I can help.
I've been shooting professionally for over 18 years — from equine portraiture and Western lifestyle to brand photography, headshots, events, and community storytelling. My work has appeared in Cowgirl Magazine, national brand catalogs, and community publications across Arizona.
I shoot what matters — the real moments, the personality, the connection between a person and their world. Whether it's your business, your horse, your dog, or your community event, I bring an editorial eye and a genuine interest in telling your story right.

I founded The Golden Rush Arizona — Arizona's first dedicated Golden Retriever community convergence — in 2026. What started as a grassroots idea became a 600+ RSVP weekend event in Flagstaff with confirmed sponsors, a host hotel, live entertainment, charity partnerships, and attendees traveling from across the country.
I also serve as Arizona's Subaru Love Promise Community Lead under the Loves Pets pillar, building community activations and events that connect the brand to the people who live its values. I've run activations at Overland Expo's Subaru Base Camp and beyond.
I don't produce events for hire — this work is personal and mission-driven. But my background in community building, sponsor relations, logistics, and brand partnerships is something I bring to every project I touch.
I'm a contributing writer and content creator for Queen Creek Living (Best Version Media) — a hyper-local community magazine where I profile residents, businesses, and the stories that make a neighborhood worth caring about. My editorial work has earned recognition at the publication level.
I write the way I shoot: with a point of view, real warmth, and an eye for the detail that makes a story land. Whether it's a feature profile, a brand narrative, a blog series, or social media content, I write content that sounds like a person wrote it — because one did.
I've spent years working at the executive level — supporting CEOs, managing operations, coordinating across teams, and keeping complex moving parts organized and on time. I know how to get things done quietly and well, without needing a lot of hand-holding.
I offer selective support for small businesses and creative entrepreneurs who need a capable, reliable, discreet extra set of hands. I'm most useful when the work lives at the intersection of organization, communication, and creative judgment.
